Dennis Thibeault, DVM
Dr. Thibeault received his bachelor's degree in Biology from Fairfield University in 1990, and his DVM from Michigan State University in 1994. His career has taken him from Marlette, Michigan to Morrisville, Vermont to the Northeast corner of Connecticut. He has worked with a variety of species with different concentrations at different times. He is thankful to his former employers for the wisdom they have shared. In 2008 he decided to start Green Valley Veterinary Services, to focus on highly personalized patient care.
Dr. Thibeault is certified in Technical Large Animal Emergency Rescue
Along with his daughter Simonne, Dr. T has chickens, assorted freshwater fish tanks, and two cats. He trains in Shaolin-Kempo-Karate at Villari's Martial Arts in North Windham, CT.
Michelle Johnson, DVM
Dr. Michelle Johnson is a native of Lebanon, Connecticut and grew up as an active member of 4H and FFA. She obtained her BS in biology from Midway College in Kentucky, and then obtained her DVM from Colorado State University in 2010. After Graduation Dr. Johnson worked at an equine practice in North Carolina and a mixed large animal practice in Pennsylvania before returning to Connecticut.
While in Colorado she completed the Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians course. She is certified to perform acupuncture on a variety of veterinary patients, including horses, cattle, llamas, alpacas, goats, sheep, dogs, and cats. Dr. Johnson enjoys combining acupuncture with more traditional modalities to treat a variety of ailments such as arthritis, vertebral disc disease, nerve paralysis, lick granulomas, inflammatory airway disease/COPD, and select cases of GI upset/colic.
Outside of work, Dr. Johnson enjoys hiking with her two dogs, bicycle riding, yoga, and horseback riding.

Karen L SwanbergKaren joined the practice in 2009. She brings a wealth of equine knowledge from a lifetime of training and teaching. She has proven to be a quick study and is constantly learning more about the other animals we care for.
Karen is certified in Technical Large Animal Emergency Rescue.

Along with training horses and teaching riding and driving lessons, Karen also teaches a New Horse Owners Course annually.
